Aims and Scope
Covers the development of mathematical foundations, modeling, and computational techniques related to data. Areas of interest include but are not limited to: machine learning, computer vision, data analytics and visualization, and the geometry of data.Introduction
With the explosion of data in everyday life, we have now entered the age of data and artificial intelligence. While rapid advances have been made in data science and AI, many daunting challenges remain ahead of us, especially in terms of the mathematical foundations of data science.
As the successor to the journal Geometry, Imaging and Computing, this new journal aims to be a premier hub for coverage of mathematical foundations, modeling, and computational techniques related to data. Its areas of interest include but are not limited to:
- machine learning
- computer vision
- data analytics and visualization
- geometry of data
